Actionable content featured for retailers and suppliers in housewares, tabletop, furniture, textiles and home décor
NEW YORK – HFN is launching the Total Home Omnichannel Summit Nov. 1-3 to help the industry seize the explosive growth opportunity of the global digital market for home furnishings.
Recent research indicates that the global online market for home furnishings will grow 19 percent annually through 2020. “While the omnichannel opportunity is great, few if any brick and mortar retailers are ready for or benefiting profitably from growing digital commerce,” said Maureen Azzato, chief brand officer of HFN. “And none are delivering seamless omnichannel experiences to consumers, not even pure play e-retailers.”
The conference and expo event will gather three critical constituents for omnichannel success—home retailers, home manufacturers and suppliers, and third-party service providers, including technology and software firms, logistics and supply chain companies, as well as retail strategy consultants, financial services and research companies.
“HFN will deliver meaningful content presented by experts to address how retailers and suppliers can become more efficient and profitable omnichannel operators,” said Scott Franz, publisher of HFN. “We will deliver actionable benchmarks, insights and best practices to help retailers and manufacturers ramp up their omnichannel playbook.”
The conference at The Whitehall Hotel in Houston will feature a balanced mix of keynotes, panel discussions, case study presentations, and new products and services information relevant to top home categories from housewares and tabletop to furniture, rugs, textiles and home décor.
“HFN’s Summit is designed to help the industry move from today’s siloed multichannel platforms to a 360-degree blueprint for omnichannel retailing success,” said Matt Slaine, CEO of Progressive Business Media, parent company of HFN. “This is a must-attend event for retailers and manufacturers across all home categories.”
HFN is developing content by the industry for the industry with the support of an amazing group of advisory board members—from the likes of Macy’s, Nordstrom Rack/Haute Look, HSN, Pier 1 Imports, Boscov’s, Evine and City Furniture, with more to come.
“The content we are building is strategic and actionable, filled with benchmarks and insights to accelerate home retailer and supplier omnichannel success,” Azzato said.
